Magento Integration

Overview

Builda integrates with Magento 2 using OAuth 1.0 authentication. This connection enables product sync, pricing updates, and order flow between your Magento store and Builda.

What You'll Need

• Magento 2.x admin access
• Ability to create API integrations in Magento
• API resource permissions (see Requirements)

Setup Flow

1. Requirements — Check your Magento version and permissions
2. OAuth Setup — Create the API integration in Magento
3. Connecting — Enter credentials in Builda and verify the connection
4. Product Sync — Import and sync your product catalogue
5. Troubleshooting — Fix common connection and sync issues

How It Works

• Authentication: OAuth 1.0 (consumer key/secret + access token/secret)
• Sync direction: Magento → Builda (products, pricing, media)
• API logging: All Magento API calls are logged for debugging
• Sync methods: Manual trigger or scheduled automatic sync
