SSL & DNS Troubleshooting

ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS

Cause: Usually a Cloudflare SSL mode mismatch.

Fix: This is managed by the Builda team. Contact support — we'll check the Cloudflare SSL configuration for your domain.

Certificate Error / "Not Secure"

Possible causes:

• SSL certificate is being renewed (wait a few minutes)
• Custom domain not yet configured with SSL

Fix: Contact the Builda team — we manage SSL certificates for all instances.

Domain Not Resolving

Possible causes:

• DNS not yet propagated (can take up to 48 hours for new domains)
• DNS record missing or misconfigured

Fix:

1. Check if the domain resolves: open a terminal and run nslookup {your-domain}
2. If it doesn't resolve, contact the Builda team to verify DNS configuration
3. For custom domains, ensure your CNAME record is pointing to the correct Builda address

Mixed Content Warnings

Cause: Some resources (images, scripts) loading over HTTP instead of HTTPS.

Fix: Contact support — this is typically a server configuration issue we can resolve.
